All our Short and Tweet reviews will be 140 characters or less (except when they are a bit longer). 😉 Thanks to Tif from Tif Talks Books for the idea!In 1933, four women run a comforting safe house for Chicago criminals looking to lay low. But when the ladies find themselves violently betrayed by one of their distinguished guests, revenge becomes their new business. Daring heists, dirty money, infamous gangsters and Tommy guns are all a part of the plan in this original noir graphic novel.
SHORT AND TWEET
I loved the plot, and the all women run safe house. The artwork was amazing as well. I was drawn to the book because of the revenge plot line, but it fell a little short as the ending felt rushed. Still, the 1930's setting is worth it!Midnight Rating
