Despite only having 30 days, November seemed super long, ya’ll! Possibly because I was working so much, but it felt rough. I am not sad to see it go. Kim, on the other hand, got to visit her family in November, so that week at least was wonderful. With winter break coming up and a new year within sight, maybe we’ll have more time for blogging! It could happen, don’t give me that skeptical look.
What Kate Read:
Bookwise, I had a pretty good month! If only I could have stayed within the pages… Well, with the exception of The Siren. We read that for Naughty November, but it’s not my cup of tea. The writing is good, but I hated the majority of the characters and the BDSM is pretty brutal and not even remotely a turn on for me. Which is why I read Big Mushy Happy Lump right after, as a way to wash my brain.
What Kim Read:
Kate here: I’m going out on a limb and saying that November was just okay for Kim, since Trouble Next Door only got 2 stars from her and At the Heart of It and Holiday Wishes got 3 stars each. Hope December brings better books!
