Obviously, I love Fall. I love reading when the air turns crisp, pumpkins are everywhere, and the wonderful Readathons and Challenges pop up! So, since all of these readathons and challenges go along so well with my own #BloggersDressedInBlood and #LittensDressedInBlood events, here’s the ones I’m planning on tackling.
First off, the Litsy challenges. I’m on Litsy most days, as Instagram feels more like it’s trying to Facebook, and I’m not much of a tweeter. On Litsy I’m doing #screamthon, hosted by the Litten @4thhouseontheleft (isn’t that a great name?), and using the Litsy #tbrbingo to bring some order to all the books I hope to read (hope being the operative word, I will not get to all of these).
These are the (mostly) physical books I have, but I need to make one for audio and eArcs as well.
Now for blogging challenges- I’ll be doing R.eaders I.mbibing P.eril again, because I love it and this year it’s #RIPXII!
I’ll be shooting for: Peril the First, Peril of the Short Story, and Peril on the Screen.
And then there’s the Readathons! I’ll be doing Dewey’s 24 Hour Readathon (not hardcore, because I have plans with my friends to go to a tea house, but I will definitely be participating in some form or another). But I’m also doing Fright Fall hosted by the True Book Addict. It’s one of my favorite Fall events!
For so many years as a kid, I was one of the few people, especially female, who read and loved horror. It wasn’t until I started book blogging that I met so many other people who like chillers and thrillers. I am so glad to have a community made up of readers. I’m not saying that people who don’t read are bad people… but I am saying that people who read tend to be more awesome than non-readers.
What Fall challenges are you doing? Any others I should check out?
