One mistake can change everything. Ashlyn Calvert finds that out the hard way when a bad decision leads to the death of her best friend, Noah Anderson.
Only Noah isn’t really gone. Thanks to his parents’ company, the Infinity Division, there is a version of him skipping from one dimension to another, set on revenge for the death of his sister, Kori. When a chance encounter brings him face-to-face with Ash, he’s determined to resist the magnetic pull he’s felt for her time and time again. Because falling for Ash puts his mission in danger.
But there’s more going on in Ash’s alternate universe than either of them knows: a mysterious project called Omega. A conspiracy spanning multiple Earths and revolving around none other than Ash. Its creators would do anything to keep Omega secret…
I’ve found that I love a good parallel universe/multiverse book and when I read Infinity last year I flew through it and enjoyed the ride. I was super excited to be able to read Omega and it was just as wild of a ride.
We get a different POV in Omega, this time it’s Noah and Ash. I liked that it was a new POV, mostly because I really just liked Noah. Noah and Ash have been pulled together in every version that Noah and Cade have been to, but this time it’s different. I liked watching them push back against each other, even though it was obvious they liked each other more than a little.
This world is TERRIBLE. Out of all the worlds they’ve been to this one is less than desirable to get stuck on (though the one after that comes in a close second). They have a tier system and basically you’re stuck wherever you’re at and the majority of people are either devious or bat-shit crazy.
Omega is a crazy step up from Infinity. I did guess that it was going to be a thing it didn’t take away from the book or that the people in this world would want that.
Noah and Cade are still chasing around Dylan, who is completely off his rocker and gets worse and worse.
I wish there had a been a little more Cade and Kori from the first book as I really liked them and wanted to see a bit more, but I do get that this was Noah and Ash’s book and hopefully we’ll get a lot more from everyone in the next book.
