What I Read:
I had a really good start to my month- and while Lair of Dreams (Diviners #2) was my chosen First Read of 2016, it wasn’t the first book I finished because the audiobook was long. Instead, I got through two TBR novellas. I got to a lot of TBR books- just hope I can keep it up! Bout of Books really helped keep my reading groove going, and I’m spending a lot of time at my local library… which is good and bad all at the same time.

*I have several book box subscriptions and a monthly Audible subscription, which I am NOT including in the money spent category, because that’s already expenses I’ve budgeted for. I’m only including the money spent that was above and beyond my normal monthly expenses.
January has been a great month, blog and book wise! I finally feel like I’m getting back into the swing of things, but I’m still managing to feel unstressed about it. I’m commenting and interacting more, which has made a huge difference- I forgot how much I missed our community of book nerds! I found a commenting system that’s working for me, and I don’t feel pressure, it’s just becoming a habit. And I love that. Plus I started back with Top Ten Tuesdays and doing Parajunkee’s New Year’s Challenge and Bout of Books really got me into doing non-review posts- which led to me actually publishing some of my discussion posts. I’d like to see a few more reviews next month, but I’m on track for a great 2016- although I’m not putting demands upon myself, I’ll take breaks when I need them. 😉
