I haven’t been around much in the past couple of months- lots of traveling, work, illness, losing one dog only to get a puppy last month, but I’m hoping to be back in the full swing of things in November! Last night some of my book club friends and I went to a murder mystery event at the library, solved the crime and met lots of awesome local mystery writers- I’ll be writing about that soon.
Tonight I get to take my lovely nieces trick or treating and snuggle with the devil dog, Pages, as we watch horror movies and eat entirely too much candy (me, not her, but she might snack on some green beans). Pages gave us a scare by getting pneumonia and spending some time in a vet hospital, but she’s recovering quite nicely. I still suspect she’s some kind of dog/shark hybrid, because she’s all teeth and biting, but she’s cute, so we’ll keep her.
Hope you all have a wonderful Halloween, make it be spooky and magical (or just magical in case spooky isn’t your thing) and full of screams of terror and delight (or just delight if terror isn’t your thing)!
