Welcome to my new blog hop/meme In Bed With a Book! Why limit ourselves to just Sundays anymore? Stop by anytime during the week to share what book is in your bed, and be sure to hop to other blog participant’s sites as well. I’ll post a new link each Sunday, but you can add your post any day of the week.
At this time I would like to feature a new book blogger every week, so if you’re interested, go ahead and email a picture of what book is in your bed this week to be featured next Sunday. Emails can be sent to midnightbookgirl (at) gmail (dot) com.
This morning I’m reading:
This is my current TBR Jar book, so I’ve slowly been reading it for weeks now. I finally got to the point where this book is demanding more than the few minutes a day I’ve been devoting to reading it. I really didn’t think I would like this book, but it’s fantastic! Sometimes you just have to plunge in and read a couple of pages before dismissing a book. I got the first two books of this series at my first BEA (in 2012) and I’m just now getting to it. I know, I’m a bad book parent. 🙁
Also I’m planning on watching some Alias, season 2 today. My friend, Courtney of Abducted By Books, has finally caved to my peer pressure and is watching this series for the first time. Back in my Alias obsessed heydey I purchased one of tv series guide books about it, simply because I was obsessed. As much as I love tv, I love books more, so when confronted by a combination of the two, I lose my shiz. You should have been there the day I found the book version of The 10th Kingdom. I’m sure I scared some people with my squeals of fangirl delight.
You may notice brown and gray blurs in the first pic- that would be my kitty Alabama playing with my dog, Emmy. Well, Bama is playing, Emmy is fleeing for her life. In the second pic, Bama has decided to photobomb Jennifer Garner.
What are you reading (or wish you had time to read) in bed this week? Are you reading the book you thought you’d be reading, or has today found you with a surprise? Link up below! I’m going to try running this more like a blog hop, so feel free to add the link in your meme posts!
