Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by the awesome people at The Broke and Bookish, who love lists as much as I do!
Top Ten Top Ten Best/Worst Series Enders
This list was kind of hard to make. I have a lot of unfinished series.
1. Black Heart by Holly Black
Black Heart was so good and the ending was perfect: It was conclusive, but also open ended enough that another book could be written (hint, hint).
2. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by JK Rowling
Epilogue aside, I loved how it ended. It sucked that people had to die, but no one dying wouldn’t make any sense.
3. Requiem by Lauren Oliver
I know that this will be on a lot of people’s bad lists, but I was totally ok with it ending this way.
4. Girl of Nightmares by Kendare Blake
I’m not a fan horror. I thought that Anna Dressed in Blood should have been a standalone. Based on those two things you would think that I would have disliked this book, but I freaking loved it! It was the perfect ending for Anna.
1. Boundless by Cynthia Hand
It wasn’t so much the way that the book ended, but the way the love triangle was handled. I absolutely HATED how this love triangle was resolved.
2. Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins
A certain thing that happened to a certain character made me feel like the whole revolution was a bit pointless. I liked the book, but this one thing really bothered me.
3. Seeds of Yesterday by VC Andrews
Honestly I can’t remember specifically what bothered me about Seeds of Yesterday but I remember that it really pissed me off.
4. The Shade of the Moon by Susan Beth Pfeffer
This is one of the few books in recent memory that I honestly want my time back from reading it. Thankfully I didn’t pay for it. Everything about this book was wrong, wrong, wrong!
